Apple acquires company specializing in augmented reality [video]

Apple recently acquired Metaio, a company specializing in various applications related to augmented reality. Mysteriously, the company announced it will stop selling its services last night, and filings with the German government indicate that the acquisition of Apple is indeed a business already concluded.





The Metaio offers six different services but they all are related to augmented reality. They range from an SDK for cloud services to business tools. Check out the video below to understand better how the work of Metaio:


Apple has reportedly already working on ways to implement the reality of increased resources in their platforms for some time. In the maps, it is likely that the company make numerous improvements going forward thanks to the acquisition of Metaio, which in fact produces solutions for businesses and their tools - as in Apple's maps.

The company's technology also opens the door to many other features that Apple can implement in your online store. The company has been working, including on ways to make users "prove" virtually certain goods before purchasing it, as in the case of Apple Watch.
