In a sad statement for all iOS users and jailbreak community, Comex the well know hacker and iOS developer has declare on his twitter account that he is not going to develop any more. This statement shows that untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 won't come soon. As know that Comex was the only hacker responsible for jailbreaking iPad 2. We have announced few weeks ago that iPad 2 jailbreak has been leaked by one of JailbreakMe hackers who was able to jailbreak iPad 2 by downloading PDF file which is the exploit used to jailbreak iPad 2 with JailbreakMe 3.0. One of the iPad 2 user at thegadgets has successfully jailbroken his iPad 2 using Beta JailbreakMe but some users said that jailbreakMe is only working on iOS 4.3. Some bad news unfortunately we got for those who have iPad 2 especially iOS 5 users. Comex confirmed on his Twitter that JailbreakMe 3.0 will not jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 5, rather it will only jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 till 4.3.3 on iPad 2.

A few minutes ago the iPhone dev team just posted a new article in their official blog, they mainly warn the jailbreakers and unlockers from upgrading to the new iOS 4.1 which expected to be released today, you will likely start seeing iTunes innocently offer you a new version of iOS 4.1 , don't accept it , it's a trap.

You have been waiting for that! MuscleNerd has just said that comex will try to pull a trifecta by releasing a userland jailbreak similar to JailbreakMe to jailbreak iOS 4.1 for all devices but if he fails to do though, then a iBoot or bootrom exploits will be released.

Last week we reported that Apple applied for a patent which designed to specify the jailbrking and/or unlocking devices or removal of SIM card from a phone so the device will be disabled. Apple has also released a new iOS which only for patching the jailbreak hole, but the Dev-Team fired this back announcing that they will be able to disable the new patent.
