iPad Pro has surpassed Microsoft Surface in sales

iPad Pro was unveiled by Apple during the month of November and was received very well by users worldwide, its sales being higher than those of the tablets, Microsoft Surface, that although prices for sale are pretty close.

Apple announced it had sold 16.1 million tablets in 2015, T4 with 7.1 million units more than Samsung, but the surprise comes from Microsoft that was not even in the top 5 manufacturers although Huawei occupy last place with 1.4 million units sold.

Considering sales of tablets which are much higher than those of any other manufacturer, the folks at IDC say that including the iPad Pro would be outdone in sales Microsoft Surface although both tablets were in a fiscal quarter in which they were released.

Although Microsoft claims that sell more tablets annually in 2015, a T4 tax quarter, failed to sell more than Huawei, a company with a prestigious much smaller and inferior products in terms of quality and price.

Despite lukewarm reviews, the iPad Pro was the clear winner this season as it was the top selling detachable, surpassing notable entries from Microsoft and other PC vendors. It’s also important to note that the transition towards detachable tablets has presented positive opportunities for both Apple and Microsoft. However, Google’s recent foray into this space has been rather lackluster as the Android platform will require a lot more refinement to achieve any measurable success.
