Android designer criticizes the "old" interface of iOS

When Steve Jobs introduced its first iPhone in 2007 said that it was a product that was 5 years ahead of the competition. In an interview with Wired, Duarte spoke at length of the design of user interfaces for smartphone, saying the original grid designed by Apple to the first iPhone had an initial positive development, later becoming old and shabby now after so many years, "this idea of a small grid that you can manually handle begins to be very heavy and burdensome in terms of user experience."

For Duarte, now is the time – also on Android – to change everything, because smartphones are starting to show their age. This statement might anticipate a small graphic revolution coming to Android?
