YouTube begins testing new version of its app for iOS [video]

Google is testing a new version of its YouTube app for iOS, it should follow the trend of cosmetic makeover that is taking most of the Android apps to take a look and an interface based on Material Design.

What we do know now about the update, which was revealed by this short video created by one of the testers of the new format, showing as is the YouTube appearance. Although it was created with the Material Design of Google, there is a clear application of the effort to align with the aesthetic standards of the latest version of iOS 8.0.

The YouTube brand, A new button has also been added, with which the user can access other profiles to see favorites or updated videos, and check the hottest videos on the homepage. Continues to lack the presence of a back button.

Nor do we know if the new application will allow you to upload videos of early way through the YouTube subscription service, it should already be to be released. It's pretty cool that Google is leaving many users selected at random to act as beta testers.

The evolution seems to follow the trend of the application version for Android, which had been re-invented for at least six months ago. YouTube is one of the oldest applications of iOS, having been released along the first iPhone in 2007.
