Spanish hacker called Naima has successfully released PS3 custom firmware called Naima CFW 3.55 / 60 hybrid. The new custom firmware is a CFW 3.55 with some files taken from the newly 3.60 firmware. More over, it spoofs PS3 console on 3.60 firmware which allows full PSN access for games and applications with preserving jailbreak capabilities of custom firmware 3.55.

PlayStation 3 Running on V 3.60 has been jailbroken in less than a week after Sony released security update to patch all exploits. PS3 hacker Winocm has posted a video that show jailbroken PS3 in action. However, this jailbreak will never be released, as cited by hacker.

Sony became crazy. It looks like Sony will never stop fighting against PS3 jailbreakers especially George Hotz. What a shocker! Some anonymous PS3 hacker is claiming to have decrypted nearly 100% of the traffic transferred over proxies, http and https to and from the PSN. Couple of days back, we informed you about a small group of German hackers called fail0verflow who found an exploit dubbed as the PlayStation 3’s “private key”, which is used by Sony itself to restrict the access to unsigned code and block pirated software.

A new hacker team called fail0verflow was able to find a new way to jailbreak PS3, the team was able to make a small presentation at the Chaos Communication Congress which has been held in Berlin recently. The hackers team announced that they had been able to break PS security in a missive way.
