In the Apple Media event, it has been confirmed that iOS 4.3 will be available for public by March 11. It'll bring the Nitro Javascript engine from Safari on OS X, iTunes Home Sharing which'll let you play content over Wi-Fi, and new AirPlay features (App Store apps can use Airplay now).

Although I knew that the AirFlick video tool I posted about earlier today could theoretically pass transcoded video streams to Apple TV for playback, my initial attempts with VideoLAN Client transcoding more or less went nowhere. Then, Greenpois0n reader BC reposted a comment earlier this evening that he originally left on the MacRumors forums.

We've heard several reports of people having various problems trying to stream movies and music to their AppleTV via AirPlay using Time Capsules and AirPort Base Stations. A new Cydia tweak has been released today that allows your iOS device to stream recorded video from your photos or camera roll to your Apple TV! This tweak, called Air Home Video, is a standalone app that allows the user to stream any recorded video from the app.
