iOS 9 is installed on 77% of Apple's devices

Apple Developer support page has been updated by plotting the data related to the adoption rate of the iOS 9 to 8 February, 2016.

Since the last survey dated 28 January that active devices upgraded to iOS 9 was equivalent to 76%, the increase in recent days was just one percentage point--in line with the trend of January-thus bringing the adoption rate at 77%.

The expense were older versions of Apple's OS, passed from a current rate of 7% to 6% of adoption. Remains stable iOS 8, currently installed on 17% of the devices.

The data were published in correspondence with the release of the third beta of iOS 9.3, currently available for download for developers. To tell the truth, there are few new features compared to the second build, including the addition of new shortcuts 3D Touch, small changes to the hue of the display in Night Shift, the activation of a password or the Touch ID app notes and some updates in Apple News, Health and CarPlay.
