Bug which completely blocks any iPhone

Some iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch can be completely blocked by a potential bug recently discovered, it exists in all versions of iOS launched in recent years, this without Apple it be solved to date although he certainly is known to those in Cupertino .

In the video below you can see the problem, the terminal is fully locked iPhone without the possibility of more restart, even if the user makes a restore procedure is possible, but without any effect to rebuild it functional.

1 January, 1970

Bug that block iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is based on 1 January 1970, that is, if we set the iPhone this time and restart your device manually, it will refuse to even start, the only solution is replacement device based on the guarantee provided by Apple.

Changing the date is easy in Settings> General> Date & Time and restart until the iPhone works perfectly normally without it being blocked then able to repair it in May.

What iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch are affected

For now it seems that only iDevice with chip 64-bit affected (A7, A8, A8X, A9, A9X), in iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air, IPad Air 2 and iPad Pro versions of iOS 7 - iOS 9.3 beta 3 bug with all active, so no matter which one you run, you will theoretically be affected.

Nobody knows why there is this bug, but some argue that if it were timezone settings set in iOS, it has problems in allowing switching terminals if the date is set for 1 January 1970, but a clear explanation was not offered by Apple.

The remaining terminals apart from those mentioned above are not affected, so if you can change them once and you can reboot the device without the slightest problem, no matter what version of iOS you have installed them.

That said, be careful not to change the date devices and if you do not want someone else to change it, then you can install the jailbreak tweak the BrickingDate to protect.

UPDATE: A hacker known as a complete draining of the battery supports should reset the internal clock of the terminal and to allow restart.

In the same idea, disconnecting the battery from the motherboard to the terminal for several minutes should have the same effect.
