Apple released iOS 9.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch [IPSW Links]

Apple has released a public version of the update iOS 9.1. Install update possible on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. To synchronize the gadget running the new operating system to a computer requires a new version of iTunes 12 for Windows and Mac.



iOS 9.1 was in the test phase since the beginning of September this year. In iOS 9.1 added a set of new emoticons (more than 150) that Unicode Consortium has made to the eighth edition of the Unicode. Also appeared in the OS setting "Show contact photos" in Messaging.

In addition to iOS 9.1 fixes bugs and adds four new background images on the theme of space and nature. Find images in the section Wallpapers -> Select new wallpaper -> Pictures. Three new static image replaced the previous versions, such as images of Mars, Venus and Saturn.

A full list of changes in iOS 9.1 for iPhone and iPad:

  • Fixed a bug due to which the program "Calendar" could stop responding to the actions in the viewing mode of the month.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the launch of Game Center program for some users.
  • Fixed scaling the contents of some programs.
  • Fixed a bug that could lead to an incorrect calculation of the number of unread messages for POP accounts email
  • Fixed a bug that did not allow automatic bid to remove recently used contact information when creating new messages or e-mails.
  • Fixed a bug which caused some e-mail messages might not appear in search results in the "Mail".
  • Fixed a bug that caused the appearance of a gray band in the form of a message.
  • Fixed activation occurred for some mobile operators.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the renewal of some of the programs of the App Store.
To install iOS 9.1, you need to go on the iPhone and iPad in Settings -> General -> Software Update, or download the update on the links at the end of the article and using iTunes. It should be remembered that at the moment there is no software tool to jailbreak iOS 9.1, so users who expect to maintain access to Cydia, you should refrain from installing the firmware.
