iPhone 6S is thicker, taller and wider than the iPhone 6

iPhone 6S is thicker, taller and wider than the iPhone 6, or at least that we see a series of new images in which case the new smartphone is comparable with the current device sold by Apple in the market.

According to measurements made for a cover iPhone 6S received from an Asian source, the new Apple smartphone has a thickness of 7.08mm compared to 6.9mm which has the iPhone 6, so we're talking about an increase in the thickness of 0.18mm, 0.2mm half of those announced so far.

In this idea, iPhone 6S Plus could be between 7.28mm and 7.3mm compared to 7.1mm as it has at the moment, and that because the thickness increase applies equally to the terminal and for iPhone 6S, so we will not have differences to amend them in any way.

iPhone 6S height now reaching 138.19mm 138.1mm versus the iPhone 6 and if we talk about 67.68mm width compared to 67mm for the new smartphone has as the current one, so the differences are not huge for the two Apple products.

These figures differ slightly from those provided by 0.xmm few weeks ago by a person who has demonstrated the iPhone 6S is two times stronger than the iPhone 6, but this is normal be it prototype or final products.

Looking changes in percentages, iPhone 6S will be 3% thicker than the iPhone 6, reaching thickness which is presently iPhone 6 Plus, and this could prove to be quite problematic for many users.

These measurements confirm an earlier article in which I said that some housings and covers will not be compatible with iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, so you must be ready for it.

iPhone  6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be presented on 9 September and will wait here to discuss everything will be revealed.
