MobileFusion turn an iPhone into a 3D scanner with an application of Microsoft (Video)

MobileFusion a new application is presented by Microsoft for users of iPhone terminals around the globe, it is thought the idea of an iPhone allows us to transform a 3D scanner without much effort.

In the video below you can see how the application works MobileFusion those from Microsoft it with a series of special algorithms that scan the images recorded by the camera main iPhones to create 3D objects that then we can including print .

The app works without an internet connection, the entire software is currently in its interior, and MobileFusion can be created using 3D objects that developers can integrate applications including augmented reality or even games for mobile terminals.

What this system effectively allows us to do is to take something similar to a picture, but it’s a full 3D object. Everything happens on the phone itself. This is really about the accessibility and ubiquity of 3D scanning. The great starting point was to take a sensor that everyone has in their pocket, which is the camera you have on your mobile phone.

Unlike other similar systems, MobileFusion works with any smartphone application is installed, does not need additional hardware, but for now the software is under development and will be officially presented only in October.
