Modification Lets You Use iPhone To Access GTA V Characters Smartphones [video]

Grand Theft Auto 5 is the fifth installment of the popular franchise from Rockstar. The game has one of the most controversial story lines of games in which you need to commit crimes and other crimes to evolve.

The series was also one of the first to present an open world where the player can choose to fulfill the main objectives of the campaign mode, or play with other illegal activities, ranging from stealing cars to assault or kill innocent people. Many of the missions are passed by characters in the game through e-mails or phone via text messages. Each main character (Trevor, Michael and Franklin) has a different smartphone, to record all their achievements and missions to be accomplished. But have you ever wondered how it would be nice if we could control them through our cell?

This idea also crossed the mind of the creator of the channel DIY Projects Planetleak, which can be seen in the video below he created a modification where you can access the smartphone character in the game and read the messages and also received e-mails. Rockstar has even some official applications for the franchise, as iFruit that lets you interact with the dog's Franklin, but nothing is as complete as this following solution:

Among the possibilities is access to the contact list, the dialer to make calls and also access the missions to be carried out within the game. Such a possibility was made possible by the use of Arduino Leonardo and Ethernet Shield boards connected directly to the PC player. After that, just simulate the remote keyboard and mouse for such commands can be performed directly from an iPhone. It is not yet clear whether it is also possible to make this workaround in Android, but other users will also venture on this new way to interact with the acclaimed game GTA.
