Google announced the Photos app to store photos and videos with unlimited space in the cloud [video]

Along with the presentation of the new platform Android M, Google introduced a new Photos application to store, organize and process images. The company says that it will not have any restrictions on the amount of disk space.





The Google Photos, you can process images, make collages and other adjustments. The program is self-animation of similar pictures that made a row. The app is able to sort the photos by the place, people and time. Navigate through the library and select multiple images, you can swipe. And look at it - in natural language. For example, "Fall in Budapest."

As part of Google Photos users will get an unlimited amount of disk space to store photos and videos. Limit the amount of disk space when it does not imply the absence of restrictions on the stored multimedia files. According to available information, the service will store pictures in resolution up to 16 megapixels, and the resolution is limited to stored video at Full HD.


Google Photos app will be available for download on May 28-29 on devices with iOS and Android. Also soon to launch a web version of the service.
