iOS 9 - Change Announced By Apple Partner

iOS 9 is the next version of operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, Apple planning to officially launch it later this fall, after the beta testing period that will be announced in June. Although we know very little about what's new in iOS in September, today the CEO of one of the partners Apple announced a novelty that the US company plans to give us the fall.

I'm talking about Twitter CEO who announced that in future versions of iOS system including Spotlight will display tweets to searches made by users in their iDevice / Macs. Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, said the tweets of the various people of Twitter and other content published in the famous micro-blogging network will be visible in the system Spotlight, but now we do not know exactly how.

And finally, we are also working with Apple to surface great Twitter content and accounts directly in Spotlight Search on iOS and OS X, that also makes it easier and quicker to find great things on Twitter. So I would sum up by saying, there is absolutely an opportunity to go and monetize that attention and traffic. We want to make sure we iterate on the experiences to get them right first.

The information was provided at the meeting for the presentation of financial results for Q1 2015 and Twitter comes without giving any details Apple about this possible implementation. However, if Twitter CEO announces now, there is a very high chance that it will be available starting September iOS, mentioning its availability otherwise would not have been worth it.

Given that Apple will release the first beta of iOS in September on June 8, when will organize the opening keynote of WWDC 2015, then perhaps we will learn and tweets will be displayed on Twitter or not, the function will mainly be useful for the United States and other countries where Twitter is popular.
