Dropbox Announces A New Comments System, Soon Be Available On Mobile Devices

Dropbox has today announced a new commenting system that will allow anyone to comment on each type of file uploaded to the famous cloud storage service.

While users of Dropbox for Business had the opportunity to comment on the documents by the end of March, the company today announced that this feature will be available to all.

In the "Comments" section you can also mention other users, inviting them to comment, Twitter-style, or using the "@" before the user name (or email address). Will be enabled email notifications for new comments. Of course, users can also disable the comments to their files. How? By selecting "Turn off comments" in the Options menu.

This function is currently only available in the web version of Dropbox, but it should be "soon" also included in applications for mobile devices.
