Samsung Releases It's New Gear 2 Generation Of Smart Watches With New Operating System And Great Features - Samsung has released its second generation of Galaxy Gear smart watches. It is confirmed that there are two separate  models brought. The two models are the Gear 2 and the Gear 2 Neo.

It is said that both are running Samsung-backed Tizen operating system that was collaboration with Intel. The new smartwatch Gear 2 has a 1.63-inch touch screen, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and built-in speakers similar to its predecessor. An IR blaster  was added to the new generation and the camera was was relocated to the body of smartwatch it self in Gear 2, but the Cheaper Neo Gear doesn't feature a camera.



The both models said also to feature a heart rate sensor  and a pedometer for fitness tracking. The Gear 2 said to has a 300 mAh battery, thus means it provides from 2-3 days of usage anywhere.

 The watches also have a built-in IR-LED sensors, that allows you controlling your TV
 set-top box using Samsung’s pre-installed Watch-ON app. Also the new Tizen will give some brilliant apps including Evernote, Feedly, BMW, CNN, Under Armour and Paypal.

The Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo let users connect to a wide variety of Samsung devices and access an enriched application ecosystem as the first wearable powered by Tizen based wearable platform. Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo are compatible with more than dozens of Samsung Galaxy smartphones at launch.


The Gear 2 And Gear 2 Neo will come in interested various colors like Charcoal Black and Wild Orange, Mocha Grey and Gold Brown.According to Samsung, the watches should start shipping in April without announcement  of pricing.
