How To Set Vibrations With Contacts Calls & Text Messages. Custom Vibrations was one of the 200 features introduced in iOS 5. This feature allows you to set custom vibrations for your individual contacts.

Sometimes if you are in a meeting, and your cell phone is in silence mode, the custom vibration feature becomes useful to help you recognize a call or text message from a particular contact. Let's check the guide after the following jump.

How To Set Vibrations With Contacts Calls & Text Messages :

In order to assign custom vibrations to individual contacts, here is what you need to do:

Step 1: First, you will have to enable custom vibrations in settings. Go toSettings > General > Accessibility > Custom Vibrations. Set this feature to ON.

Step 2: After enabling custom vibrations, open Contacts to set custom vibrations.

Step 3: Tap on a contact, then edit.

Step 4: Just below ringtone, you will see vibration, Tap on it.

Step 5: You can choose from a number of preset vibrations, or create your own.

Tap on Create New Vibration

Tap on the screen to create a vibration pattern.

After creating a vibration pattern, tap on save on top left corner to save the Vibration Pattern.
