Well, a lot of iPhone users are using Microsoft Office app on their iPhone. Unfortunately office app wasn't supported for iPad previously. Now we got hot news from a team inside Microsoft confirm that office app will be available for iPad and land November 10. Read more after this jump.
Matt Hickey has confirmed that Office app will be available for the iPad on November 10th and that's after the software is now being tested against Metro compliance:
We’ve learned that the development team within Office Mobile finished its work on the project last month, and the efforts of the design group wrapped soon after.Also according to a report from BGR which says that Microsoft development team are working so hard to bring Office app for iPhone, iPod and iPad at the first week of November.
The app is now in the hands of a usability team that appraises software that utilizes the Metro design language for “Metro compliance” and suggests changes as needed.
When approved by the team, the app likely will go to Apple for app store approval, which could take a couple of weeks.
Also that’s not all there is more news from AppleInsider which says that Microsoft is developing a brand new iOS app called OWA Mobile Client.. It is a very great thing to see office app coming for the iPad because there have been a long time that we haven't seen the office app coming for iOS apps.
