iPhone 5 Production Reaches 150,000 Unit / Day

According to Foxcon, the main supplier on Apple, he is producing about 150,000 iPhone 5 units / day and this is mainly due to the hype created by its launch in the market. And this number is expected to reach from 5 to 6 million iPhone shipment during September.

According to Digitimes report, the shipments of iPhone 5 are expected to reach upto 5-6 million and they may increase more than 22 million during the fourth quarter of the year as the suppliers will be shipping less of the CDWA versions of iPhone and iPhone 4 during this quarter of the year. According to another report 86.4 million of phones are expected are to be shipped this year and Apple is expected to sell the highest number of smartphones this year.

There are rumors around regarding the cheaper iPhone in the market but at the mean time Apple’s increase in production of iPhone 5 has already created a big impact. Most probably the new cheaper version is going to be a slightly re-tooled version of iPhone 4 and apple is expected to sale it as a cheaper offering on iCloud storage with a heavy reliance.
