The
Verizon iPhone is ever so slightly differently shaped to the
AT&T version, bumping down the controls on the left side just far enough that some cases won’t work with it. In order to counteract this — and the threat of fragmentation — Apple has quietly released a combined bumper which will fit over either version of the phone. In comparison to the current bumper, the only change is a change in the vibrate switch opening, which has been lengthened. Early comparison shots of the two phone models implied that the volume controls might be lowered too, but evidently their close enough that the buttons on the bumper don’t need to be moved.
