Skype is one of the most used VOIP client. The android version of Skype has been updated with an option to install directly on external memory (SD card), hence saving precious phone memory space. You need to have android 2.1 or higher for installing this version of Skype on your android device.

For users who are already using Android 2.2 Froyo, this update is not so important as the option of moving any app to SD card is a standard feature in Froyo.
