From China comes the news that Apple is negotiating with both Samsung and TSMC in order to ensure the best price for the A9 chip that will be used on the next iPhone. The intent is just to get a price cut at the last minute.
According to Digitimes, Apple is asking that both Samsung to TSMC to reduce the price for the supply of the A9 processors. In this request, TSMC would respond in a negative way, while Samsung seems inclined to accept applications from Apple.
Clearly, given the differences between the two companies, Samsung can offer better prices without too many sacrifices, while TSMC has more difficult to satisfy Apple.
This means that, in all likelihood, will own Samsung to produce most of the chip that we will find on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
