New Maps for iOS 9

iOS 9 contains significant improvements and new features in the Maps application. Let us see what was presented in these minutes in this regard.

The main innovation is called Transit, and is the ability to get directions to get around by public transport, either underground or bus. You can specify what kind of means we want to take a few moments and maps will show us the paths citizens faster and less crowded.

Another novelty is Nearby, a new screen where, recovering the functionality of applications such as AroundMe, it will be possible to know the points of interest, clubs, restaurants, anything could attract our attention in the area in which we find ourselves. Pay no shortage integrations with Apple and Siri, thanks to ProActive, which is also included in iOS 9.

Among the cities mentioned that already support these features only London and Berlin are among the cities of Europe.
