Hackers steal large sums of money through the Starbucks app

In recent days, the US broadcaster CNN has confirmed that hackers managed to steal quite considerable sums of money from credit cards and PayPal accounts in a rather unusual way: they have in fact used the app to Starbucks, the popular chain cafeteria.

All this would be due to an auto-load the app in question, which would allow hackers to take possession of the sums of money of the unfortunate by making use of the gift card to Starbucks.

This could be in effect a rather risky, since, as stated by the same Starbucks, the company has made $ 2 billion in transactions through the mobile platform, a sixth of which come right from the app in question.
