iOS 8 Crash More Often Than Android 5.0 Lollipop?

Whenever an operating system receives an update more when you change the graphical interface, and for this reason Lollipop Android 5.0 has been widely criticized by users who use it for the high number of application crashes

However, today there is a new report according to which the percentage of crashes Android Lollipop is around 2%, lower than that of IOS 8 with 2.2%.
The same study also attests that the percentage of crashes of applications on iOS 7 appeared to be lower than in iOS 8, highlighting the need for new updates and big fixes to Apple which is already working.

It 'obvious that a good part of the crash is always due to the use of the device, the amount of available RAM when you start a game, "heavy" and is used as the device, however,  iOS Android are currently not giving the best of themselves.
