After so many rumors and exceptions on the web, now we know that Verizon iPhone is coming today. Verizon Wireless has invited so many bloggers to the special event today where it's going to announce the long-waited Verizon iPhone. The event will be held in New York on January 11th, 2011 at 11:00 AM EST.
A WSJ report, via "a person familiar with the matter" says that Verizon's planning an unlimited data plan. This makes sense, as it would give Verizon a competitive edge over AT&T, which terminated its own unlimited plan in favor of capped data (except for those subscribers grandfathered in with an unlimited plan that predated the change).
All Things D has already reported that Steve Jobs will join on-stage with Verizon Wireless’ President & COO Lowell McAdam to announce Verizon iPhone 4.
