A developer has found a Web Stream to tune stations Music's Apple Beats 1 for Android.
The developer Rumble Benjamin ran into a sequence of encryption Beats one taking advantage of it to include in your personal website. If you access from a browser of Android, would be able to listen Beats 1 with a slight delay of the live broadcast compared to Apple devices.
According to a post on twitter by Rumble, this is a "very informal" way to access from multiple devices Beats 1, meaning it may not work in a defined manner. He also explains that failed to find a live (HLS) unencrypted HTTP URL for the service. 6 plus iOS devices, Android 4.1 and above, through Safari on OS X.
Rumble is an Apple user, says Timo Hetzel found an encrypted unusable URL, then he auditioned Rumble changing the URL from "/ Hub02 / session02 /" a "/ Hub1 / session01 /". And he discovered the URL unencrypted where I could hear Beats 1. declared:
"I'm a big fan of the radio, so I was excited to tune Beats 1 the first day"
This URL was tested on a Nexus 5 which runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, the music is played without interruption, although it was delayed a few seconds of playback versus an iPhone 6.
Users have found additional URLs for audio streams that can be accessed outside of the iOS app Music and iTunes 12.2. The currents will only work in countries where it operates Beats 1 and to listen to stations requires a compatible application with the HLS protocol. There are a number of these available, including: Safari (OS X / iOS), chromium (Android / iOS not desktop), QuickTime X (OS X), Microsoft Edge (Windows 10), Media Player Classic Home (Windows), TuneIn Radio (iOS / Android) and more.
This shows that not only iOS and Android users can enjoy these stations but also those of other desktop platforms that do not have the latest version of iTunes installed. This while Apple does not begin with the closure of these unofficial access points for Beats 1 as all assume. Since at 24:15 ET, the station visited by Rumble stopped working.
But do not worry Rumble has found another URL that is running:
PLAY HERE
So if you're curious now is the time to try the URL of Rumble
