Siri Port Is Very Close To iPhone 4 On iOS 5.0.1

A series of amazing news comes over these days starting from Pod2g comments as he confirmed yesterday that iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak code has been completed for all idevices running on A4 chip, which means that iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak will be released over few days. Yesterday, Apple has released iOS 5.0.1 firmware build 9A406 for iPhone 4S with many new features.

MuscleNerd the well known hacker over iPhone dev-team declares that iOS 5.0.1r2 (build 9A406) features decrypted ramdisks.


To clarify this, with the new decrypted ramdisks in iOS 5.0.1, it’s now possible to write a simple script to legally extract the needed files from iOS 5.0.1 for Siri port on iPhone 4 and older devices.


We can say that you can port Siri with Apple on all iDevices and it's legal right now.
