How to play the classic Nintendo and Sega games on Apple TV [video]

Many of us like the classic games such as Super Mario World. Now they can run on Apple TV, using the emulator Provenance. This application is not in the App Store, but, fortunately, Apple allows the installation of software from third-party sources.

Below is a step by step guide to launch Sega games and Nintendo on Apple TV. If you are a fan of them, simply have no right to miss it.

Step 1: Connect Apple TV to a computer using a USB cable Type-C.

Step 2: Connect Apple TV to a power source.

Step 3: Visit Provenance on GitHub and copy the URL.

Step 4: Launch Xcode -> Source Control, and paste the URL in the Repository Location. Click "Next".

Step 5: Select the master and again click "Next".

Step 6: Click on "Download".

Step 7: Select Provenance.

Step 8: In the drop-down list locate Provenance TV-release and specify the connected Apple TV.

Step 9: After the completion of processing of files, click on the icon Play, to build the application.

Step 10: You may be prompted to select a username developer account. You can use the free account developer Apple.

Step 11: After assembly is completed, you will see a message Running Provenance on Apple TV. Disconnect the console from the computer and reconnect to the TV.

Step 12: On Apple TV, run Provenance -> Import ROMs.

Step 13: Go to the specified IP-address to access the web interface of Provenance on your computer. From there you can download Nintendo games and Sega for the Apple TV.

Look at this one clip to get an idea of manipulation:

Provenance supports remote control Apple TV, but honestly, it is not designed for such games. To obtain maximum enjoyment from the gameplay, you will need a couple of traditional controllers like Nimbus from SteelSeries.
