Facebook - major change for Messenger

Facebook announced a major shift during the day for Messenger, messaging system implemented for the largest social network on the planet.

According to Facebook, starting today phone numbers will not be compulsory to enable communication between users via Messenger part of the change today.

According to Facebook, now anyone can communicate with anyone through Messenger as long as that person's name, but the person will be contacted, in certain circumstances, to accept applications sent by the initiator of the conversation conversation, all without a phone number.
