Leaked Parts For 5th Generation iPod Touch

Well, everyone is talking about iPhone 5 and the iPad mini but none has paid any heed to Apple’s famous iPod Touch 5G. Last month, a Japanese blog, Macotakara posted about some features of the next-gen iPod Touch. According to the news, iPod Touch 5G will have a completely redesigned body, improved A5 Dual Core processor and changed back. New iPod Touch will share the iPad’s current Aluminum background as compared to its shinny steel one.

Now, Gizchina, a weblog has got some iPod Touch cases which spectacles different aspects of the next generation iPod Touch 5G. The first noticeable thing is the design of the iPod Touch, it will have a completely redesigned body, a less tapered ends as compared to previous iPod Touch models. Moreover, Apple will probably introduce improve camera with LED flash. The Last thing which is revealed from this image is a “mystery hole”, which is located on the lower right corner of the rare of this leaked case.

As you can see from the photos these cases suggest that the next generation iPod touch will have a new design (at least to the rear) and seem to be have a much less pronounced taper to the edges when compared to the current iPod touch 4.
The cases could also give away possible details as to the spec of the 5th generation iPod touch 5. The hole around the camera area to the left for example looks to have been elongated and tapered to fit around a possible LED flash to help with low light photography, and there is also the appearance of a new ‘mystery hole’ in the lower left hand side of the case.
What do you think about this “mystery hole”? We believe that if it will be present, it would be probably the speaker or microphone in this new iPod Touch. Next generation iPod Touch will be introduced on 12th September along with new iPhone 5 and iOS 6.
