Important Note : When you upgrade to iOS 5 it will update your idevice to a new baseband which is which can't be unlocked till now.

How To Upgrade Any iDevice To iOS 5 :


Step 1: Download iTunes 10.5 and install it on your iDevice ( Windows & Mac )

Step 2: Download iOS 5 for ( iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS, iPod touch 3G, 4G, iPad And iPad 2 )

Step 3: Connect your iPhone into your computer via USB and iTunes hold [Alt in Mac] [Shift in Windows] and click on the 'restore' button then point it to iOS 5 you download above. Wait for between 10 and 15 minutes for the new OS to be moved over.
